Amazing & Unusual Walkabout Acts.
CFR Entertainment offer a variety of interesting & unusual Walkabout acts. All of our acts are designed to provide maximum interaction, and feature experienced, highly-skilled entertainers. These aren't bored, silent teenagers in fluffy suits!
The acts are surprisingly versatile, and are suitable for a wide range of age groups. They are popular at festivals, shopping centres, town centres, corporate events...

Buckle & Swash
Buckle & Swash is a two-man act, featuring amazing costumes and props (and months of rehearsals!). The title characters are 'Captain Jack Buckle', a lovable pirate & 'Commodore Simon Swash', his foppish adversary. They "sail" about on their (land) boats, providing lots of fun interaction for your visitors. They can even perform a comedy sword battle like you've seen at the movies!! Excitement, fun & humour put together in a first-class package. Ideal for festivals, parades & fun events everywhere!
Ventriloquist
We now have a variety of puppets for walkabout, suitable for all ages, they include a Smoke-breathing Dragon accompanied by a Knight, a colourful Flamingo and an Orang-utan. They are accompanied by a skilled entertainer, for maximum effect. Terrific for fun days, festivals, shopping centres and more.
Stilt-walking Characters
Our variety of Stilt-walkers includes an outstanding Elvis stilt costume, (A high quality costume, hand made by Franko himself), a peg-legged pirate, a giant Frankenstein, several nine-foot clowns, & a wizard. We also have Charlie Chaplin, a cowboy, pilot, snowman & Santa's "Little" Helper. See below for our stilt-walking clown band.
Stilt walkers are great for leaflets drops & shop launches and perfect for photo opportunities! as well asFor fun days & cross-community parades you can add in balloon modelling. A couple of nine-foot balloon modellers always gets the youngsters going, as well as drawing attention from far and wide!
Ollie the Ostrich
This Ostrich Rider illusion is a professionally built costume, ridden by your choice of either a cowboy or a pirate. We also have a scary skeleton version for Hallowe'en, and a Snowman rider for Christmas.
Think Bernie Clifton's ostrich rebuilt for a discerning modern audience. Our particular Ostrich has been re-engineered by us to improve interactivity, and is ridden by a professional entertainer, guaranteeing the full interactive experience.

The "Saddle Sore" Cowboys
Consisting of up to four walkabout cowboys this act is well suited to walkabout for a fun day/festival. They often burst into song, singing C & W songs to Chip's woeful accompaniment. Due to a diet consisting mostly of Baked Beans, be prepared for thunderous sound effects. Not for the faint hearted!
Super Zeroes!
This hilarious walkabout/meet & greet is ideal for a huge age range. These failed super heroes have 'amazing' powers - such as the ability to fly (provided no-one is looking) and an ability to eat smarties. Lots of overacting, inability to lift even the lightest objects and general silliness.
"Life Unearthed"
This mock camera crew are filming the wildlife series 'Life Unearthed' - the only difference being that their interest lies in humans rather than animals. Cameraman, Soundman & of course the Star of the show 'David Middlesborough' will bring out the best in your guests
Magic Clowns / Balloon Modellers
Walkabout balloon modellers, available either on stilts (in a variety of characters, see above) or at normal height, dressed as clowns. All of our balloon modellers are experienced entertainers, so as well as making the balloons, they will bring their stage-skills to the mix.

George Formby Tribute
Suited to a surprising variety of themed events, you can book a George Formby tribute. He comes complete with a Ukelele-banjo - and actually plays the instrument and sings a couple of George's best known songs. He's dressed in an authentic 1940s army uniform.
Generic Frenchman or Toulouse Lautrec
The perfect addition to your continental market, or your themed event: a French-speaking walkabout, featuring a "typically" dressed Frenchman- performed by an entertainer who spent six years living in France.

Our most popular meet & greet to date: Amazing live statues, add a real buzz to many kinds of event. Experienced professional entertainers as always! Available in two different styles (you can also have them both at the same time) : A beautifully crafted costume, designed to look like stone, and from one of our artistes a Knight in suit of armour - very Scooby doo!

Ideal for a variety of events, including launches, Oscar themed events, restaurants, clubs & more. These cheeky paparazzi will 'snap' away at your guests as the a arrive, asking daft questions as they do.(You'll appreciate the difference hiring skilled entertainers can make!) In the interests of privacy, the cameras do not contain film.

An inept German officer, think "Allo-Allo". To avoid offensive symbolism, this acts actually uses a post-war East German uniform, but works just as well.
